Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 30, 2026

Welcome to TableHop. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the TableHop mobile application, the restaurant-owner portal, and related services. By creating an account, signing in, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use TableHop.

1. Age Requirement

TableHop is intended only for users who are at least 13 years old. Every account records a date of birth before it can use the app. By using TableHop, you confirm that the date of birth on your account is your own and accurate. We may suspend or remove accounts we believe are used by anyone under 13.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Contact us at support@gotablehop.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep it current, and use only accounts registered to you.

3. Use of the App

TableHop grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app. Using TableHop to find restaurants, save favorites, and talk to friends is free and personal. If you claim a restaurant, buy a subscription, or run advertising, Section 4 also applies to you. You agree not to:

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account for any violation of these Terms.

4. Business Accounts, Subscriptions, and Billing

Restaurants and businesses can claim their listing and pay for a TableHop subscription. Ownership claims are reviewed by our staff before we grant access to a listing, and we may reject a claim we cannot verify.

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the owner portal under Billing. Canceling stops the next renewal — your paid features stay on until the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of that period except where the law requires it. You are responsible for keeping a valid payment method on file; if a payment fails, we may pause paid features until it is resolved. If we change the price of your plan, we will email your restaurant's owners at least 30 days in advance; the new price first applies at your first renewal after that notice period, and you can cancel before then to avoid it.

5. Advertising on TableHop

Advertisers pay to promote restaurants, events, and offers in the app. Ad creative must be accurate, lawful, and appropriate for a general audience. Campaigns created by restaurant owners are reviewed by our staff before they run. We may reject a campaign or stop one that is already running — for example, creative that is misleading, offensive, or inappropriate for a general audience. Restaurant-owner campaigns are prepaid and priced per 1,000 impressions (and per click where shown); the rate is shown before you pay, and they are shown in the area you choose around your restaurant — its city, county, metro area or state. When a paid campaign ends, is completed, or is declined or stopped by us, any budget it did not spend becomes account credit that is applied automatically to your next campaign. Account credit has no cash value and is not refunded, except where the law requires it.

Every account records a date of birth so we can keep the app, and the advertising shown in it, appropriate for the age of the person using it.

Advertisers are responsible for their own claims, offers, prices, availability, and legal compliance, including their own licensing. TableHop does not verify advertiser claims and is not a party to any transaction between you and an advertiser.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including photos, ratings, reviews, survey responses, and messages. By submitting content, you grant TableHop a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, adapt, and distribute that content as needed to operate, improve, market, and support the service. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party right. We may remove content that violates these Terms, infringes another party’s rights, or creates safety, trust, or legal concerns.

7. Reporting Content and Behavior

If you see something abusive, unsafe, unlawful, or infringing, tell us. You can report content and accounts from inside the app, and you can always email support@gotablehop.com. Include what you saw, where in the app you saw it, and when — a screenshot helps.

Some content is reviewed before anyone else sees it. Photos that users upload to a restaurant go to our staff first and only appear publicly once they are approved. Feed posts submitted by restaurant owners are reviewed the same way, as are their ad campaigns. Content that publishes immediately — ratings, reviews, messages, profile details — is reviewed when it is reported.

You can also block another user. Blocking ends any friendship between you and stops friend requests and direct messages in both directions.

When we receive a report we look at the content and at the account behind it. We may leave it up, remove it, warn the account, or restrict or terminate it, depending on what we find. We prioritize reports about safety, abuse, and minors. We keep a record of reports so we can identify repeat problems, and we may tell you what we decided about a report you sent. Reporting something in good faith never counts against your account; deliberately false or abusive reporting does.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, then tell us.

8. Copyright and DMCA Notices

If you believe content on TableHop infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent: Copyright Agent, FH Development Studio, LLC, W309N1557 Greywood Lane, Delafield, WI 53018, United States, or support@gotablehop.com. Our agent is registered with the United States Copyright Office under designation DMCA-1081503.

Your notice must include: your physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; identification of the material you want removed and enough detail to let us find it in TableHop; your address, telephone number, and email address; a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice and tell the person who posted it. If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to the same address with the equivalent information. We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.

9. Restaurant Information Disclaimer

TableHop is a restaurant discovery and social planning platform. We do not prepare, sell, serve, or deliver food or drink. Restaurant information, including hours, menus, prices, and dietary or allergen details, is provided for discovery purposes only and can be out of date; confirm anything that matters with the restaurant. You are responsible for following local laws and making safe decisions.

10. Privacy

Your use of TableHop is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the app you consent to the data practices described there.

11. Third-Party Content and Links

The app may display venue information, maps, photos, ratings, links, and other content from third-party services such as Google Maps and Google Places, from OpenStreetMap contributors, and from public government data. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their accuracy, availability, policies, or content. Use third-party links and services at your own discretion.

12. Acceptable Platform Use

You may not use TableHop to interfere with the service, probe security, introduce malicious code, automate unauthorized access, or use data gathered through the app to build a competing database, directory, or commercial service without written permission.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

TableHop is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that venue information will always be complete, current, or accurate.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TableHop, FH Development Studio, LLC, and their affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

15. Termination and Account Deletion

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the app at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for other users, or misused the service. You may stop using the app at any time.

You can delete your account yourself, in the app: open Settings, tap Delete Account, and confirm. Deletion takes effect immediately, your sessions are signed out, and the account cannot be recovered. See our Delete Your Account page for exactly what is removed. One thing blocks it: if you are the only owner of a restaurant with an active subscription, we will not delete the account until that subscription is canceled in the owner portal, so nobody is left paying for a listing they can no longer manage. If you cannot sign in, email support@gotablehop.com from the address on the account.

16. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of TableHop after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, where FH Development Studio, LLC operates from W309N1557 Greywood Lane, Delafield, WI 53018, and by applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

If you have a dispute with us, email support@gotablehop.com first — most problems are resolved faster that way. If we cannot resolve it within 30 days, you and TableHop agree that the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to venue there. Nothing in this section prevents either of us from bringing a claim in small claims court, or from asking a court for an injunction to protect intellectual property or account security.

18. Contests and Promotions

From time to time TableHop may run contests or promotions, such as rewards for inviting friends. Each one has its own official rules, linked from the app while it runs, and those rules govern it alongside these Terms. Taking part never requires a purchase, entrants must be 18 or older, and prizes never include alcohol. We may disqualify anyone who uses fake accounts, automation or other tricks to gain entries. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, and are not involved in, any TableHop contest.

19. General Terms

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, that part is limited or removed and the rest stays in force. If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms or your account to anyone else; we may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and TableHop about the app, and replace any earlier version.
